Broken image/caption on Faust article

edit

The caption on the second image of the article is "abbr=on" which appears to be an error in the source, and it needs fixing. I don't know how image source works, much less how to fix it. HYTEN CREW (talk) 17:35, 22 January 2025 (UTC)Reply

It was an incomplete template, now fixed. Best, CMD (talk) 18:00, 22 January 2025 (UTC)Reply
You are such a W. Do you think the current caption looks good? It doesn't look like any of the other captions. HYTEN CREW (talk) 18:11, 22 January 2025 (UTC)Reply
It's a recent addition to the page, if you have a better idea for it be WP:bold and make a change. I see there is already one other image of a copy of the book. CMD (talk) 00:07, 23 January 2025 (UTC)Reply

Request for assistance on Draft:Laura Müller (motorsport)

edit

Hi there - I am expanding an article about Laura Müller, the first female Formula One race engineer (Draft:Laura Müller (motorsport)), who is German. Regrettably, the English-language sources are fairly thin, but I did see that she was interviewed in FAZ; the article's behind a paywall. If someone could kindly take a look and see if there's any useful material to add to the article, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thank you. Namelessposter (talk) 02:59, 27 February 2025 (UTC)Reply

Coal in Germany created - maybe you like to improve

edit

I created it by splitting off from coal phase-out but am not planning to edit it more. Was a bit surprised could not find an equivalent article on German Wikipedia to link it to. Chidgk1 (talk) 07:21, 28 February 2025 (UTC)Reply

The European Destubathon

edit

Project members are invited to participate in The European Destubathon in April. Almost $3000 in Amazon voucher prizes, including a prize for German articles, which can be used to buy books for content, though it can also be treated as an editathon if you're not interested in competing! Minimum content to be added to each article just to ensure that they're over a stub, though longer expansions also welcome. Entries at the end of the contest will be tipped into the 50,000 Destubbing Challenge and European Challenge. Previous contests were really enjoyable and I'm hoping this one will be too! Sign up if interested. Thanks! ♦ Dr. Blofeld 14:40, 10 March 2025 (UTC)Reply

Far-right leaning documentary film on Germany's Phoenix channel

edit

The following was also posted at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Korea.

I recently updated the Phoenix (German TV channel) article with a new section dedicated to the controversy from earlier this March surrounding the biased documentary film about the political crisis in South Korea. Do you see anything to fix or update? --183.101.53.185 (talk) 10:47, 23 March 2025 (UTC)Reply

Upon the suggetions made by User:seefooddiet at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Korea, I ended up creating a draft about that documentary instead. Once it becomes an article, could someone suggest me what to improve further? --183.101.53.185 (talk) 11:36, 24 March 2025 (UTC)Reply

Well, the submission was declined. Could someone suggest me some useful "published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject" that provide "significant coverage (not just passing mentions)" about that documentary? --183.101.53.185 (talk) 09:43, 27 March 2025 (UTC)Reply

Guess what, the draft got moved into the article namespace. Could someone provide more German perspectives to that article, though? --183.101.53.185 (talk) 09:24, 28 March 2025 (UTC)Reply

German Figure Skating Championships

edit

Guten Tag! I am working on this article and have been able to find sources for most of the championships, but there are still several years that are unsourced. Can anyone recommend perhaps a newspaper archive that can be searched? My German is decent, so I don't mind doing the search in German. My goal is to eventually have this article promoted to Featured List status. Thank you so much for any help you may be able to provide! Bgsu98 (Talk) 15:58, 31 March 2025 (UTC)Reply

Request help naming a new article on Bavaria during the Weimar Republic

edit

I'm about ready to publish a new article on the (mostly political) history of Bavaria during the Weimar Republic and am not sure what to name it. "Bavaria (1918–1933)"? "Bavaria in the Weimar Republic"? "History of Bavaria (1918–1933)"? "History of Bavaria in the Weimar Republic"? Any of the above with "Free State of Bavaria"?

Any help / suggestions would be most welcome. Thanks. GHStPaulMN (talk) 21:04, 14 April 2025 (UTC)Reply
