If you're on the fence about Apple Intelligence features on your iPhone, just know they'll be automatically installed with the next iOS update.

According to Apple's beta developer notes, Apple Intelligence will automatically be switched on when you install iOS 18.3, iPadOS 18.3, or macOS 15.3, all expected late January.

"For users new or upgrading to iOS 18.3, Apple Intelligence will be enabled automatically during iPhone onboarding," the notes read. "Users will have access to Apple Intelligence features after setting up their devices." The same goes for macOS 15.3.

If you want to switch off Apple Intelligence on your device, you'll need to head to Settings, select Apple Intelligence and Siri, and hit the toggle.
