I’m just a girl, standing in front of the internet, asking everyone to love romantic comedies as much as I do.

And, love is precisely what you'll feel in abundance after watching the cast of Crazy Rich Asians getting quizzed on their knowledge of classic romantic comedies.

Awkwafina, Ken Jeong, Gemma Chan, and Henry Golding try (or rather, spectacularly fail!) to identify classic romcom films from their most iconic quotes. Things like: "Nobody puts Baby in the corner," "You had me at hello," and "To me, you are perfect."

Sounds pretty straightforward, right? Not so much, as it turns out. The cast's quest to prove their knowledge (or lack thereof) is truly hilarious and endearing to watch.

Judging by Jeong's ludicrous answers, he might need to go away and do his homework on romantic comedies.

Awkwafina was off to a great start, correctly identifying Mark Darcy's swoonworthy line, "I like you very much, just as you are."

Things went swiftly downhill, however, when Awkwafina and Jeong were asked to identify Julia Roberts' line from My Best Friend's Wedding: "Choose me, marry me, let me make you happy."

Jeong proffered Jackass 2 as his nearest guess. Couldn't be further from the correct answer, to be honest. Same applies to Jeong's attempt to identify this famous quote from Notting Hill: "I'm also just a girl standing in front of a boy, asking him to love her." He suggested Spider Man 2, Ernest Goes to Camp, and even Top Gun. Woefully incorrect, I'm afraid.

Jeong managed to finally guess one correctly — a quote from Nora Ephron classic When Harry Met Sally: "When you realise you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible."

"Boom! I know my stuff!" he yells. Um, hate to break it to you.... Jeong blamed his nerves on his woeful performance in the quiz. "You know what amazes me that the camera will never pick up is that we were so close on so many guesses and that's what frustrates me, honestly I'm nervous," he said. Nice try, but you didn't fool us!

Next up: Gemma Chan and Henry Golding.

"To me you are perfect," was the first quote Chan and Golding were asked to identify.

"Nick Young to Rachel Chu?" asks Golding. I see what you did there. But, no. The answer is, of course, Love Actually.

Golding's grasp of Nora Ephron's romcom canon isn't as rock solid as Jeong's. He thought the quote — said by Harry to Sally in the film — was a line from The Notebook. Oh dearie me. Chan finally guessed the answer correctly when she given the clue: "the one where Meg Ryan has an orgasm."

Chan, meanwhile, was on fire with her impressive command of the genre. She correctly guessed quotes from 10 Things I Hate About You, Four Weddings and a Funeral, and Pretty Woman.

Golding thankfully redeemed himself by correctly matching the following quote with the movie it belongs to. "I'll just be hanging around the mistletoe, hoping to be kissed." Yep, that's right, it's from Love Actually. And, it managed to get another one right, even if the clue was in the answer: "I’ll never let go, Jack." Titanic, of course. And, she did let go, didn't she.

That, my dear romcom-loving friends, is absolutely NOT how it's done. But, kudos to these truly hilarious actors for being such good sports.

Crazy Rich Asians will be hitting cinemas in the UK on Sept. 14.
