Just cause the guy from 'The Apprentice' is doing well doesn't mean we should revive this, too!

Dust off your tanning beds, America. MTV announced Monday that Jersey Shore is making a comeback. Jersey Shore Family Vacation will air in 2018, cause, you know, some of them have kids now.

The reunion series will bring back Deena Nicole Cortese, Paul Delvecchio ("Pauly D"), Jenni Farley ("JWOWW"), Vinny Guadagnino, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, Nicole Polizzi ("Snooki"), and Mike Sorrentino ("The Situation"). That's the entire original cast minus Sammi Giancola ("Sweetheart"). Maybe she doesn't want to see Ronnie?

The announcement came during the premiere of MTV's Floribama Shore, which EW notes is part of "MTV's Shore franchise," which is a real phrase we just had to write. Fans of the original series are mostly excited, but the world has changed a lot in the short time Jersey Shore has been off the air. Can the show and cast withstand it?
