If you want a lightweight laptop, the MacBook Air is a great option that we can recommend, but if you want to go another direction, Samsung isn't a brand you should pass up, especially when it comes to its Galaxy Book line. They're surprisingly affordable, and you can get one today for a great price at Amazon that can handle just about any task you throw at it.

As of March 7, the Samsung Galaxy Book4 Edge is $706.68 at Amazon, down from its usual price of $899.99. That's a discount of 21%.

This 15.6-inch model has a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor under the hood with a Qualcomm Adreno GPU and 16GB of RAM. You also start with a 512GB SSD, a webcam, quad speakers with Dolby Atmos support, and more all packed into a lightweight chassis.

But where it truly shines is its usage of AI to give it the "edge" in its name, with options like live captions for video and other multimedia and a variety of other AI-assisted tasks. Plus, it has a long-lasting battery so you're covered all day, and you can juice back up quickly thanks to its fast charge options.
