Pugh hive, assemble!

An exclusive new clip from Marvel's Black Widow aired during the MTV Awards on Sunday night, with fresh footage showing Natasha Romanoff (Scarlett Johansson) and her old comrade Yelena (Florence Pugh) trying to outrun (or rather outdrive) a mysterious pursuer.

While we're used to seeing Natasha take the more action-packed path out of a sticky situation, this scene suggests that her Avenger experience has made her a touch more cautious than her former teammate. (Co-star David Harbour confirmed in a previous interview that Black Widow's standalone film is set after the events of Captain America: Civil War, and before Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame. Obviously.) Yelena fires up and takes the wheel — literally — and it's brief but glorious.

You'll be able to see who kicks the most mysterious pursuer ass when Black Widow releases simultaneously in theaters and on Disney+ Premier Access on July 9.
