There are so many things to talk about in the new trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. There's the sinister High Evolutionary (Chukwudi Iwuji), who seems to have traumatized Rocket Raccoon (voiced by Bradley Cooper) in the past. There's villain Adam Warlock (Will Poulter), flying around in gold body paint. There's the contentious relationship between Peter Quill (Chris Pratt) and a newly-returned Gamora (Zoe Saldaña).

But what I really want to talk about is all the angst. Why is everyone screaming? Why is everyone crying? Who is that otter hugging Rocket, and what are the chances it dies? I have no answers, but I do know one thing: If that otter dies, we riot.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is in theaters May 5.
