With stock prices cratering following Trump's tariff trade war, Jon Stewart has turned his attention to the economy.

In the Daily Show monologue above, the host breaks down everything from Trump disappearing to play a golf tournament while the economy burned down to Trump's shouty "ONLY THE WEAK WILL FAIL!" reaction on TruthSocial.

"What are you doing? Your economic policy has the same tagline as Season 3 of Squid Game," says Stewart. "That's supposed to make us feel better?"

Ultimately, Stewart makes a comparison to the crash seen during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. "And this time, there's no controversy over how it all started."
