Looking for an eerie new adventure? This might be it.

Based on the 1978 dark fantasy novel by Stephen King, CBS All Access' upcoming 10-part miniseries, The Stand, has a group of survivors getting trapped in the struggle between good and evil in an apocalyptic plague-stricken world. Together, they must face their biggest fears, which are brought to life by the mysterious Dark Man.

The sleek, heart-pounding trailer gives us a glimpse of the series biggest stars including Whoopi Goldberg, Alexander Skarsgård, James Marsden, Odessa Young, Jovan Adepo, and more. Its moody and mysterious feel has us fully intrigued.

The Stand hits CBS All Access on Dec. 17.
