This year, A Quiet Place's John Krasinski and Deadpool 3's Ryan Reynolds team up for a surprise: the family friendly IF, an ode to children's imaginations.

Written and directed by Krasinski, IF reveals that imaginary friends (or "IFs") walk among us, unseen. But when a young girl named Bea (Cailey Fleming) discovers she's able to see IFs whose children have grown up and forgotten about them, she'll embark on an epic adventure to try to save the world's abandoned IFs.

Along for the ride are her neighbor (Reynolds), a giant purple IF strangely named Blue (voiced by Steve Carell), and a whole host of other fantastical creatures.

IF also stars Fiona Shaw, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Louis Gossett Jr., Emily Blunt, Matt Damon, Maya Rudolph, Jon Stewart, Bobby Moynihan, Sam Rockwell, Sebastian Maniscalco, Christopher Meloni, Richard Jenkins, and Awkwafina.

IF hits theaters May 17.
