In 2023, M3GAN wowed audiences with campy scares, viral dance moves, and an unforgettable diva doll. Now, in the upcoming sequel M3GAN 2.0, we don't just get one killer AI, we get two!

M3GAN 2.0's trailer introduces Amelia (Ivanna Sakhno), a military-grade weapon created using the technology that made — nay, gifted — us M3GAN (Amie Donald, voiced by Jenna Davis). As her self-awareness increases, her desire to kill multiplies until she's a threat to all of humanity. Now, she has M3GAN's creator Gemma (Allison Williams) and niece (Violet McGraw) in her sights.

Gemma has become an advocate for AI restrictions in the two years since the events of M3GAN, but she knows that the only way to stop one killer AI (and make a sequel) is to bring in another. That's right, it's M3GAN resurrection time! M3GAN gets a new body and a new makeover. She's stronger, faster, and most importantly, taller. Everything a girl needs to take down a super-weapon!

The trailer teases sassy one-liners ("Hold onto your vaginas") and a no-hold-barred battle between "this bitch and that bitch," aka Amelia and M3GAN. (Sidebar: We predicted it.) It also taps into the online love for M3GAN, with one fan dressed in her signature blonde wig saying, "I don't care if she did kill four people, she is a smoking hot warrior princess!"

That she is — and we can't wait to see her in action again.

M3GAN 2.0 hails from Blumhouse Productions and is written and directed by Gerard Johnstone (M3GAN) and produced by James Wan (Saw, Insidious). It also stars Brian Jordan Alvarez,Jen Van Epps, Aristotle Athari, Timm Sharp, and Jemaine Clement.

M3GAN 2.0 hits theaters June 27.
